Tiesto and Becky Hill have joined forces and brought us a feel-good house track "Nothing Really Matters," out now via his own imprint, Musical Freedom.
This UK house effort features Hill's infectious vocals and brooding grooves. It is not groundbreaking, but with its emotive piano chords and sweeping electronic drifts, it provides the danceability we need for our Zoom parties at the moment. What really stands out is the accompanied music video made by German visual artist Vacades, which is a video compilation of digital imaginations of nature returning to different cities during the COVID 19 quarantine.
Before the music video was released, Vacades created a series of clips that went viral on Instagram where plants grow from concrete jungles in cities like Tokyo and Paris, or the indoor of iconic buildings such as Museo Del Prado in Madrid and the shopping gallery Vittorio Emanuele II in Milano. The music video is an extension of this series, featuring scenes in more cities. Using his imagination to visualize the silver lining of this devastating global crisis, Vacades is able to spark hopes and provides visual escapism we all need right now.
