Canadian genre-bending singer songwriter Daniela Andrade has collaborated with fellow Great White North artist, Sean Leon. They came together to create the single, "Bad Times Are Good Times".
The ambient R&B style of Andrade's sound is in full control with this number. She produced this single along with Dan Only who also did the role of mixing. The essence of this song is crafted out of a celebration of life's tough moments. She encouraged her fans on her Instagram by compelling us to "try our best to check in with one another and life each other up however we can."

Daniela Andrade also released a self-directed visual for "Bad Times Are Good Times". As the COVID-19 has the world essentially on public lockdown, the music video was shot in a bedroom with only Daniela and her thoughts. The wide-angle camera shots were impressive as the somewhat inverted 'tiny planet' edits took over our screens.
She invites rapper, Sean Leon, on the song's second verse. Leon raps his verse in the video whilst being projected on the white wall of her room. Throughout 2019, Sean has been putting out a barrage of singles and also had career shifting placements for working on Kanye West's Jesus Is King.
Andrade's career spawned from her consistent and creative Youtube channel, as she would cover music online and her clear and soft voice garnered millions to her name (currently 1.89 M subscribers). In 2012, she dropped her first album Things We've Said. Since then she's been releasing music just about every year including her latest record from 2019, Tamale, an album where the indie artist really tapped into her Honduran roots and gave us a dosage of her heritage. As we may be possibly experiencing 'bad times' during this global pandemic, it's hard to not appreciate Daniela's ever-so soothing new single.
