Producer duo, Duñe x Crayon, just dropped their new single and video "Pointless" with a feature from French artist, Ichon. The talented two, composed a melodic track sure to put you in a mood. Check out the video below.
Known for their smooth production, "Pointless" is a nod at their dynamic technique. The downtempo track blurs the lines between R&B and jazz. While it's easy to get lost in the sultry beat, "Pointless" touches on the societal struggle of feeling both out of touch and over-connected. Duñe x Crayon seem to effortlessly soften the message, covering the chorus with piano progressions and electric guitar strokes. Ichon's alluring vocals are like butter, adding another layer to this lucid track.
The guest star of the flick is Ichon, an out of touch loner who is suddenly enamored by a woman he met on the internet. The roses play a huge role in conveying the artists' message. Shot by Alice Kong, the video is an aesthetically pleasing trip through a day fueled by bad choices.
The producers are getting back into gear after dropping their last single back in October of last year. The Parisian pair are cooking up their new album, Hundred Fifty Roses, set to release in mid-April through Roche Musique.
