Hackney-born sleek pop artist Millie Turner leads the release of her sophomore EP with the single "January". An ode to pressing reset yet accepting the repetition of mistakes, the track is an elegant piece of British pop. For the youthful artist, "January" showcases the very expertise which is gaining her so much attention.

Inhabiting a remarkable ability to produce catchy, glossy pop tunes, Turner outdoes herself on "January". Weaving tantalizing synths with an underlining electro current, the track multiplies the feelgood nature of the track and exercises Turner's creative flair. Plus, adopting Scandi-pop traits, this exquisite pop artist is honing a unqiue Scandi-British pop hybrid which is already crazily addictive.

"January represents an idea for me, a time where there's this internal pressure to do more, be more, start again, relive your life, forget that you're human" admits Turner. "In reality I'm a mess and make mistakes all the time and this song is a parody fro the reality that January brings."

Featuring the incredible "Swimming Pool", Turner's EP Hide+Seek is an exploration into the artistry of the East London vocalist. With it's lo-fi sounds and mellow pop melodies, this is yet another example of Turner's ability to craft elegant bops. Millie Turner is definitely one to watch for 2020 if these tunes are anything to go by. Don't be shy, go live your best life with this EP as the soundtrack.
