Lil Keef is an up and coming rapper from Atlanta signed to a label from one of the most recognizable voices in hip hop: Young Thug. Recently, the upcoming rapper and his mentor have released a track that the two collaborated on titled “Proud of Me”.
The upbeat song features Lil Keed flexing his recent success from talking about only wearing Chanel to putting diamond rings on a women’s fingers. As far as Young Thug, the experienced rapper takes time on the chorus to reference Gucci Mane’s previous incarceration, which was still ongoing when he recorded his part on the track.
[Chorus: Young Thug]
Who would you tell? 'Cause I wouldn't tell (Hey)
I'm scared of you and what you can get done to me
Who said they dare? Who say they dare?
Please free Laflare, I know he gonna be proud of me
