Ladia says don't "Leave Me Stranded" in vibrant new track

Ladia is Australia's answer to a soulful blend of introspective R&B and sinfully sweet electro-pop beats. Her newest single "Leave Me Stranded" leaves nothing to the imagination, reveling in clear-cut transparency on love and overcoming adversity.

A beautiful amalgamation of electro-pop beats and heartwarming R&B sensibilities, "Leave Me Stranded" is dynamic and flourishing in its smooth and sultry production (as crafted by fellow rising star MDWS). Delivering a languid melancholy, Ladia's lush vocals soar with the back beats, as though breaking through and finally shining in the midst of twilight. It's a narrative relatable to many as the Australian/Filipino singer-songwriter opens up about a trying period in her life—where she was left feeling helpless having been cast aside by a loved one. Under its effortlessly polished exterior, the song explores the darkness of Ladia's past and the true adversity she faced.

A native of suburban Gold Coast, Ladia first came to the public’s attention in December 2018 with her debut single "Feel the Same." The self-celebratory anthem contrasted sugary pop melodies with darker themes of heartbreak and a love turned cold. The track caught the attention of many, offering a taste of what's to come from the up-and-coming artist. With an accompanying music video coming soon and debut live shows just around the corner, we look forward to what the Gold Coast artist will bring in the near future.
