VERITE is definitely not "phasing out" on the single's new orchestral rendition

Brooklyn-based independent pop artist VERITE is definitely not phasing out on a new orchestral version of the single. The live video of "Phase Me Out" is from the Bunker Studios Sessions, recorded live in Brooklyn with an all-female orchestra. These sessions close out her Somewhere In Between era and were inspired by a performance at National Sawdust earlier this year as part of The Hum Series, which celebrates female and nonbinary artists.

VERITE's vocals on this live rendition will break your heart, a combination of ethereal belts and quiet, hushed intensity with gorgeous orchestral croons behind it. "I never imagined I'd have the opportunity to work with an orchestra," she said. "It's such a luxury to work with live musicians, reinterpreting songs that I've lived with for so long."

Referring to her collaborators as "badass women," VERITE is currently gearing up to release her second album in 2019 and has clocked in 200 million streams on her first. Watch the live video for "Phase Me Out" below:
