The duo of Magugu & Casement are here to showcase a tinge of attitude and hard-hitting beats on their new collab joint titled "DNT."
United by Oxford-based record label Deep Cover, the duo bring their individual styles to a culmination on the song with Magugu lacing the energetic soundscape with his booming vocal performance reminiscent of a more malleable Dr. Alban while Casement gets busy behind the boards with surgical precision. Magugu merges his Nigerian roots with hip-hop as he kicks bars in pidgin English (The Nigerian equivalent of Patois) with a fiery passion.
The visual is quite entertaining and depicts Magugu as a special operative of Deep Cover who goes out on a mission to retrieve the label's precious dubplate from the perpetrators. The emcee goes on the rampage, sniffing out the perps while handing out beatdowns to anyone who dares to stand in his way.
