Wisconsin recording artist Rahn Harper continually uses his unique, deep voice to stretch out and toy with melodies that deliver passionate R&B music. This is most evident on his new project, Letting Go.
This new seven-track project examines how to eliminate negative energy and cut toxic relationships out of one's life. Thematically, Letting Go is about love – acknowledging both the good and bad of relationships. Each track separately reflect on the past and look towards the future with a variety of infectious melodies. Highlights like "Phases" and "True Colors" are catchy, but not overly repetitive or shallow. The sound feels complete, but the topics are concentrated and rich.
