Up and coming hip-hop act EB Rebel drops the visuals to her biting single "12".
The NYC-based artist who is originally from Dallas was inspired to start making music after graduating from college with a BS in Legal Studies. Her new song "12" has a dark, somber vibe and sees the emcee deliver her hushed melodic laced vocals in her own unique manner. The visuals for "12" is simple and focuses on the strength of EB's performance in front of the camera with some minor additions such as color effects but overall it's pretty straightforward.
"12" is taken from her forthcoming EP Mama I'm OK which will be released on the 18th of May. She says the inspiration behind the project stem from her thoughts during her first year in NY; the emotions that come with being away from family and following her dreams. Pair the new changes with old, menacing mental health issues (she has a history of anxiety and depression) and you have a complex project of highs and the lows.
