Femme fatale Little Boots has a new EP coming out and with that announcement she's debuted a fiery mix to match. Sandwiched between two new original tracks, British artist Victoria Hesketh packs in a full set of female aritsts which mirrors the theme of ladies behind her new Burn EP. Channeling a dark and heavy atmospheric style of house, this Burn Mix also sees a bit of a style change for Little Boots. Appearing on the mix are highlights from Maya Jane Coles, Jessie Ware, The Black Madonna, and yaeji among others—all centering around the same moody techno house vibe. Little Boots says of her new release:

“Creating a project focused on female talent is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and the process was incredibly inspiring. The producers involved hail from more underground backgrounds sonically and have very different approaches, but what tied everything together was their open mindedness and embrace of pop hooks and melodies."

Joining Hesketh in co-production is Joyce Muniz and Lauren Flax for “Shadows” and “Picture” respectively, and later down the road we'll hear tracks with Planningtorock and Cora Nova. Marta Salogni, who helped with the latest Bjork album, joins the force for mixing. The full Burn EP is set to release sometime early this spring, in the meantime enjoy “Shadows” and “Picture” as part of this Little Boots treat.
