It's been a hot minute since Murkage Dave last released some new heat for the streets. The London born crooner, who's talents stretch far beyond just singing, has been holed away working on his album for some time now, popping up to make appearances with artists such as Jaykae, Mike Skinner & the rest of the Tonga Balloon Gang and making trips across to Paris & Berlin to work with other artists such as French rapper Nekfeu. As the year draws to a close, Dave has come back to bless us with some new music, with the relaxing "Put You On My Shoulders", which is also accompanied by some brand new visuals.
The track itself, produced by talented French producer Hologram Lo, is a laid back affair, mixing kick drums and rim shots with lo-fi samples and warm bass lines. Murkage Dave steps onto the instrumental with his usual swagger & soothing tones, almost sending you into a trance.
