Covina, California based rapper Hi-Tone is all about making statements and breaking out the box. The Mexican-American rapper is currently preparing his latest project 'Price Of Admission', a 13 track body of work that follows his trials and tribulations in the music industry and beyond. Taking the profound and brutally honest route, Hi-Tone has been pretty opened about his inner demons and personal challenges as stated on his last project 'No Xanax Needed (NXN)' and he continues his climb with his new single "Mr Miyagi"
"Mr Miyagi" is mid tempo, sun drenched club friendly cut that allows Hi-Tone to roam with a care-free attitude over a bouncy trap beat provided by Steelz. Hi-Tone keeps the lyrics on the R rated level as he spits game to the females using the Mr Miyagi wax on/ wax off analogy. This is definitely one for the strip clubs as the 808s pound hard against Hi Tone's flows and melodies.
Early in the month, he also dropped a short documentary titled 'The voice' 'that dives into his creative process, ethnicity and the journey to find a unique voice in this over crowded industry. You can watch the documentary below
