Milwaukee hometown hero and Closed Sessions signee WebsterX follows up his equal parts grandiose and vexed debut album Daymares with "Everfeel," a track that embodies the final sunset of the summer. Where Daymares can be described as a constant chase for light in a dark space, "Everfeel" is a rumination on the blips of darkness that remain present despite being bathed in sunlight.

Produced by Elias Abid, "Everfeel" innovates upon some of the sunnier cuts at the end of Web's debut. Elias builds a soundscape that relies on the space between the drums, matching Web's staggered flow, and capturing that satisfying exhaustion of spending a full day in the sun. The delivery has a greater swell of urgency on the second verse before simmering down and letting the breathy texture of the hook paint the full picture. For as bright as the track is, in true WebsterX fashion, he's still rapping about demons and vices. In fact, confronting his demons is what brings both the final crescendo and a sense of resolution to the cut.
