If you're looking for something empowering and maximalist to listen to this evening, experimental electronic Gylzey's latest mixtape Yellow might be just what you're after. The London-based producer dropped Yellow on iTunes and Spotify late last month as a follow-up from his incredible 0-100 EP (2015). Yellow sees Gylzey bringing his striking signature feel of deconstruction and staunch into a seemingly genre-fluid and eclectic nine-track mixtape. The mixtape, which takes serious inspiration from hip-hop samples is also deeply etched with his own recognisable and almost industrial take on electronic sound. Yellow is truly something else.
