The Ann Arbor musician Jonathan Visger’s solo project Absofacto is a delicious blend of ghostly indie sounds and flavourful pop melodies. He stays true to that and certainly doesn't disappoint with his latest track dropping on EARMILK today titled "Light Outside". The track contains a playful electro-pop melody and further complimented by crackling, emotion filled, indie vocals. The subtle background howls scattered throughout the background of the track add a mysticism, while the harmonious analog sounds swell into a beautiful synth filled climax. It's hard not to keep hitting repeat on this one and continues to prove Absofacto's true brilliance in crafting cinematic music. It's been a while since we've had a tasty new Absofacto track to jam out to, so it's even harder not to keep hitting repeat on this one. We got a small taste of him when he was featured on The Knocks "TROUBLE" track which was released earlier this year but this new original track continues to prove Absofacto's true brilliance in crafting truly cinematic music. Absofacto is a powerful sound that's fueled by the subtleties that live in the meaningful lyrics and the catchy choruses that can lift and carry listeners from start to finish.
