Goan Dogs, hailing from Bristol, UK, have released their compelling new single "Drifting Apart." The five-piece ensemble has a reputation for creating intelligent and emotionally-manipulative tunes, and "Drifting Apart" is certainly the Goan Dogs at their most reflective and vulnerable. "Drifting Apart" is filled gliding guitar riffs countering the descriptive lyrics of vocalist Luke St. Leger.
“It’s happened to everyone. The passion, if there was any, just fades. But not in a warm, cosy, knitted-jumper kind of way when you’re left with a partner who is your best friend. Most of the time, the passion dissolves, but it doesn’t sweeten the brew. It’s just gone. So I’ll say it evaporates instead, and wish I’d chosen a better metaphor.”
Goan Dogs have a few shows coming up before the year comes to a close. They have also scheduled a few tour dates towards the beginning of spring. Check out the band when they are in a city near you.
