20-year-old singer-songwriter hailing from Brooklyn, Imani Beau has gotten us lifted with her latest track "High Supply". Her full body vocals pour dramatically over this icy upbeat production making the perfect summer dance melody.

Imani sounds like our favorite track off The Resurrection of Jay Gatsby (aka The Great Gatsby Pt Dos). Maybe you're unfamiliar? There is no spoiler alert, because there won't be a Great Gatsby 2, but let it be known if there was one, this would be the theme song. The mastermind behind the production is Imani's friend and collaborator, Simen Solvang. The addicting beat and infectious hook came naturally to the duo. Imani told EARMILK about the quick lyrical creative process behind "High Supply".
"Simen played this beat & it instantly came to me. I wrote the first verse & hook in less that 10 minutes, so I knew it was special."
Imani may have written the song in the time it takes to eat a bowl of cereal, but don't be fooled. The songstress sings about loss, acceptance and wearing her heart on her sleeve. The track at first ear sounds like a happy go lucky song, but behind the scenes she has a bleeding heart. However by the end of the cut, Imani Beau realizes it is what it is, as the upbeat production fades into a power to the pussy stardust.
