The Second Day, a sunny, chillaxadocious instrumental project from ATL-based duo Geminite, is the perfect mix to lift your spirits and make the weekend seem a bit closer. The tape was inspired by the positive vibes felt the morning after a good-ass day — a feeling we can all (hopefully) relate to.
Every track on this record is wavy like your grandma's chicken gravy. From the robust, airy synths of the opener ("A.M.") to the vintage 80's dance feels on "Bay Bridge," Geminite's obsessive craftsmanship and versatility are on full display. Mary B flaunts some impressive vocals on The Second Day as well, adding some extra sheen to "Koyote" and "Hallway Chills."
