Game-changing, chart-topping, Grammy-winning electronic music collective and quartet Clean Bandit has released a new single. The first of what is sure to be more hit tracks following "Rather Be," "Real Love," and "Extraordinary," the group has collaborated with another impressive vocalist on their latest release, "Tears," helping to potentially launch another future star's career as they did Jess Glynne. An impressive follow up from winning Britain's X-Factor, Louisa Johnson is the latest to have her vocals showcased on a Clean Bandit track, bringing soul and groove to the beloved style of "Mozart house."
“Tears is an epic trap-2step breakup ballad. I wrote it with Sam Romans at the piano, and over the course of a year, it has transformed from a simple piano tune into a mad beast of changing time signatures and feels. To me, Tears feels like a 1990s vision of a future breakup song. Louisa Johnson delivered the vocal with incredible power and devastating tenderness. Her adlibs are insane! She is so lovely and an absolute joy to work with.”
"Tears" was released over this past weekend with the allusion to a new album coming soon, and can be streamed on Spotify and downloaded via iTunes.
