Bestival returns to Toronto with Tame Impala, Dubfire, Odesza & a new location [Ticket Giveaway]

If you were there last year, chances are you already have your tickets for this year's bestivities (see what I did there). The second edition of Bestival Toronto is taking place at Woodbine Park this year – if you were on the island last year you also know how much of a nightmare it was to get off with lackluster ferry and water taxi options  – so I think the collective city can breathe a sigh of relief to not have to deal with that mess again. Not only improving on the location, but Bestival curators Rob Da Bank and company have even one upped themselves on this year's lineup. Enter below to win a pair of tickets and read on for a full preview!

Win 2 tickets to Bestival Toronto June 11 & 12 at Woodbine Park

Headlining the main stage are Tame Impala on Saturday, and none other than The Cure with a full 2.5 hour set on Sunday. Other big names include long time EARMILK favourites Odesza and Jamie XX, along with Grimes, Daughter, The Wombats and more.

The Big Top tent was a massive success at last year's event, containing the loud bass heavy dance music within the confines of an incredibly designed circus tent. If the lineup is any indication, this year will only be bigger and better, as industry titans Porter Robinson and Madeon both play on Saturday, while Tchami headlines Sunday alongside Thomas Jack, Classixx and others.

Last year's Bollywood stage stole the show for us. Not only because of the insane setup itself with pink elephants shooting out fire on top of a temple themed stage, but the lineup was hard to beat. Imagine the excitement when we found out some of the names joining this year's party, including Maya Jane Coles and Toronto's own heavyweight export Art Department. As if that wasn't enough for Day 1, Joris Voorn and Gaiser are also slated to perform. Tough to choose between either day, Sunday has it's high points as well, including a closing set from Dubfire and lengthier sets from Lee Foss, Catz 'N Dogz, Tom Trago, and Lee K. No local openers on the bill for Sunday because there's just too much talent!
