The young trap prodigy of Cavalier has taken the Soundcloud community by storm with several banging favourites to stir up the scene. At only 18 years old, the producer rise seems to be somewhat of a phenomenon in the electronic world, with notable collaborations including KRNE, Gravez, Brasstracks and more. Cavalier possesses an eclectic sound that ranges from hard-hitting trap anthems to mellowed out vapour-wave riddled beats.

In the producer's most recent work, he tackles “Don't Do Too Much” by rising names Tunji Ige and ILOVEMAKONNEN. The original track is already fashioned as quite the banger with it's head-nodding loops and swift beats. Doing exactly opposite of the title, Cavalier delivers “too much” to the table in his remix of the track. Cavalier pushes the track into another dimension, adding a denser atmospheric sound full of bass and grime to. Cavalier adds a layer of attitude to the track with his punchy 808s, vocal splice loops and synthetic texture, successfully toying with the boundaries of rap music overlaid on a trap heavy beat.

an ideal day consists of wandering a korean supermarket for cutely packaged snacks, stumbling upon instagram worthy neon signage, concluded with me drowning in several down blankets & obsessively sifting soundcloud to find a track that suitably fits my mood.
