Just recently, he has shown more activity in the interwebs such as making his album ALSO available on Spotify, which definitely started some buzz among fans. And sure enough, XXYYXX lays out a fresh blend called "Red". It's hot off the frying pan and into the ears for many on this one. It's a simplistic song, but the amount of textures woven together keeps you engaged. It has an looming ambient atmosphere swirling in the background which is contrasted perfectly with the classical industrial weight XXYYXX is so fond of utilizing.
About a two thirds of the way through, we come to a momentary rest. All we hear is drizzling water. A peculiar transition, though we are quickly brought back into bliss of the heavy bass and other ambient effects pulsating in and out of the fray.
