Alo Lee aims to seduce with "Hotline Bling" cover

London based recording artist Alo Lee apparently heard Drake’s recent single “Hotline Bling” and decided it needed some exposure – and her rendition brings out a different style from the hip hop leaning, minimally produced track.

Where Drake’s nasal, syrupy flow bounces over the beat, Alo Lee sings the track with a light, airy feel. Lee enlisted Krysshun to remake the song in a different style, and his fingerprints are all over this single, working well with Lee’s vocals, dropping in and out in order to highlight her voice.

Something about this song is just a little sexier when Alo Lee performs it. Hotline Bling goes from a dance club ballad and is transformed into the kind of song you end up paying child support over. Keep your eyes peeled for Drake, and hopefully Alo Lee will continue covering up and coming acts, giving them the exposure they deserve.
