Sander Kleinenberg is a certain someone that needs no introduction when we’re talking house music. I got introduced to Kleinenberg, and house music for that matter, back in ‘01 during his BBC Essential Mix. I owe a large part of my career in the music industry to this gentleman, as do many others around the globe.

The future of house music is all in good hands folks, as we here at EARMILK come bearing news of a brand new release from the veteran Dutch maestro. Kleinenberg is back to help celebrate Amsterdam Dance Event’s 20th anniversary next week with a  free download titled "Clarity" where he has teamed up with a young Russian producer named Marseille. In the maverick's own words,

“For me the record mixes 20 years of club vibes into 5 minutes of future funk which in light of ADE’s 20th year anniversary is a reason to present this to the world as a free gift. A gift of Clarity.”

The track is a collaboration with Marseille, an up and comer who released his For You EP on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings label last year to great acclaim. Learning under the tutelage of fellow Turbo artist Proxy – who grew up on the same housing estate as him – his fusions of techno, electro and house caught Kleinenberg’s ear, and the big man has been featuring his tracks in his mixtapes and sets for some time now. He has been a mainstay at ADE every year for a long time now, and this year was no different.

Similar to many of Kleinenberg's previous releases like his crossover remix of Madonna’s "Bitch I'm Madonna" and "Can You Feel It," he managed to take us on a musical rollercoaster ride and blend the past two decades of house music all into one assortment. In the end, it's mesmerizing. The vibe and flow of "Clarity" is something you don’t get to hear very often, primarily due to the amount of musical elements the listener faces at first. But after the breakdown arrives and along with a beautiful sequence of harmonious piano riffs, all is good.
