Something about Pierce Fulton's music has a slow burn to it. That first impression might not feel like an immediate knock-your-socks-off experience, but without a doubt, you will come back to listen again and again, letting the appreciation for Fulton's music build just like a good fine wine.
Pierce Fulton is constantly evolving his style, through club music, pop music and everything in between. He is an artist who has made it clear that he likes to honor the music he is inspired by. Just after hearing his latest, I went back in my music library to check out the songs I know and love from the American producer and DJ. The one that stood out as the biggest connection to his latest is his 2012 remix of Mutemath's "In No Time," an honor to the original, and a light and airy new take through Fulton's eyes. He's taken a similar approach on EDEN's "Nocturne," but with the more evolved style he has picked up throughout 2015 featuring live instruments with a pop friendly composition. Check it out below.
