VYD gets a funky Blende remix for "Hot Water" [Premiere]

London based producer Blende has been stirring up the scene with his signature style of funk, disco, and rock mixed with a modern electronic synth pop flair. His remixes for artists like Kraak & Smaak, Crayon, and Penguin Prison incorporate the best of old meets new, ultimately getting you up out of your seat and moving those feet.

The latest groove to come from Mr. Blende is his remix for Brooklyn-via-SoCal band VYD. The original “Hot Water” has this sort of throwback sound that stylistically reminds me of Prince at times. It’s this steamy, crawling track with a hint of rock in the guitars. Blende amps up the feel-good vibes for something that gets you moving just a bit more. Enjoy this first taste of Blende's "Hot Water" remix below and make sure to check out the original as part of VYD's Retrograde EP, which can be streamed on SoundCloud.
