Not so long ago, New York City's installment of Electric Zoo announced that its festival anthem was (fittingly) Above & Beyond's "Fly To New York." The track was originally from the group's album release We Are All We Need, and later became the after movie soundtrack for their iconic show celebrating the 100th episode of their Group Therapy radio show at Madison Square Garden in October 2014.
Shortly after the song's most recent NYC-related announcement, the guys announced the track would be remixed by their latest Anjunabeats signee and house production prodigy, Jason Ross, who we were first introduced to with his remarkable remix of Parker & Hanson's "Gravity." Partnering up with Jono, Tony and Paavo to remix their own track, the two parties have moved "Fly To New York" from ethereal emotional electronica into high energy club mode surrounding Zoe Johnston's vocals. It's out today after its premiere on Group Therapy this past Friday, so check it out.
