Each year when we hit August, with fall coming down the road, we encounter a little bit of a "lull" in announcements regarding new live music. With festival season theoretically coming to an end in most places after Labor Day Weekend, therein lies the immediate void for some new and exciting news for those around the country who might not have a chance to head to a major city to see their favorite artists play.

That's why this week, we're doing a tour round up: a recap of the best tour announcements we've heard over the past few days. First we have The Chainsmokers, whose dance fueled, almost festival-like concerts have given them a big reputation in the live music game. They're hitting everywhere from Connecticut to Kansas on their Friendzone tour, starting in October. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 AM.

UK trio Nero has defined the landscape of electronic music with their live and in-the-production booth artistry, they've built a reputation that precedes them. With their long silence that's been recently broken with the announcement of a new album out this year, the group has just announced they'll be going on tour this fall to celebrate.

South African live electronic act Goldfish just announced an end of summer tour beginning September 6th. Heading everywhere from Colorado Springs to Whistler, the guys behind the updated nationally iconic hit by Rodriguez, "Sugar Man,"  have named this tour The Storm Tour, with more tickets coming soon.

We all know that Toronto's The Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face" is one of the biggest summer jams of 2015, but we haven't seen him perform it live very much beyond televised events. Today, though, he's announced his The Madness Fall Tour that will launch in his hometown November 3rd and travel through the US and Canada thereafter. Tickets go on sale August 28th at Livenation.com.

Alina Baraz & Galimatias accrued critical acclaim with the release of their album Urban Flora. An exploration into sultry chill out electronica, they're bringing their show to New York, California and Texas throughout this fall. Shows are already selling out, but you can try to get tickets here.

Otto Knows has proved he knows what makes a hit. With "Million Voices," the Swedish producer cracked a hit so big that he easily could have been pegged as a one hit wonder. But this summer, with "Next To Me," he's proved that completely wrong, delivering a radio and festival hit. Starting September 3rd, he'll be on a tour of that same name.

Matoma started his career as a viral hit maker on SoundCloud, but was quickly picked up by Big Beat Records for his track "Old Thing Back." Since then, he's put his upbeat, bouncy tropical house styling into work on other tracks, and now will embark on a pretty impressive Living the Dream Tour, featuring Prince Fox, Boehm, Dropout and Bryce Vine launching October 1st. Venue pre-sales start tomorrow, Wednesday August19th at 10 AM, and public tickets go on sale on Friday, August 21st at 4 PM.

Today, LA's Justin Jay announced a new EP with Dirtybird Records, entitled Mom, I Graduated! With that he let loose a big tour of the same name, and the lead single from the EP entitled "Hit It."  With more dates to be announced, he'll embark on tour starting September 6th.
