As an appreciator of all things music with unlimited access to the internet, it is quite easy to feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of new sounds and projects available to you at any given moment. It is especially easy to overlook lesser known names who are crafting refined masterpieces, but sadly get lost in the great MP3 shuffle. But every once in a while you are presented with a song that is so poignant and resonating that it manages to implant itself deep inside your psyche and manages to drown out all other noise.

Today I want you to take a chance on a relatively unknown electronic producer based out of LA by the name of Smoaj. Not much has been revealed about the elusive producer besides the fact that he is exceptionally talented in creating compositions like those described above: a collection of emotional highs mixed with somber lows brought together by excellent songwriting. His latest track is minimal love ballad entitled "Flickerin" and features the incredible vocal talents of Common Souls, whose silky voice perfectly compliments the airy synths and subtle sub-bass. Check out the track below and make sure to come back to EARMILK for all of your music needs!
