In fully establishing their refined sound on their forthcoming album, entitled Interior Light, due out on October 16 via Paper Bag Records, Young Rival are in the perfect position for their transition into the spotlight. Anchored by their garage rock roots, Young Rival have been on the since 2008, where they have released an EP and two full-lengths. While their older music sticks by in its low-fi appeal, their new music stands out with its polished and evolved sound.

With the first taste of new music from the Canadian trio since 2012, we being you the title track off of their upcoming album in "Interior Light". Mixing harmonic vocals with a heavy dose of grit, "Interior Light" keeps to a simplistic progression that highlights the heavy-set, distorted guitars and lighter breaks. In all, "Interior Light" is the perfect re-introduction to Young Rival, where we can expect more stand out music to drop from them in the coming weeks.
