Eric Prydz and Pryda release 'PRYDA 10, Volume 1'

Last year, Eric Prydz's proggy alter ego and label namesake Pryda released his first official EP under the name.  Today, Pryda embarks on the release of the first of 10 EPs marking the 10-year anniversary of the label.

Being the king of unreleased material (even after having a 2014 packed with new official releases), the Pryda series includes reworked and brand new music best representing the Pryda catalog. Tracks like "Loving You" and "Neuron" do this perfectly, with the former having that telltale Pryda winding bassline with a chopped, formerly R&B vocal, and the latter getting down to the lower BPM smooth progressive. "Run" and "Rebel XX" seem to be places that Prydz is experimenting with Pryda's sound, bringing in darker, more acidic synth lines in that aren't quite as dark as Cirez D, but are something we don't usually see from him here. Check all four tracks out below.
