COFRESI, a chicago based producer and live performer is making huge waves at the moment. His approach to creating a live musical experience transcends what the majority of the electronic music scene can provide. Not only does he create his own music, but he integrates the production aspect into a full on "drum-off" coupled with sample triggering and effect modulating while in front of a live audience. Not only does his music push the boundaries of what a genre can even encompass, but he keeps his works incredibly catchy and interesting simultaneously. I would be extremely surprised to not see this artist underneath the electronic music spotlight extremely soon.
His newest work is an exclusive, completely original tune called "Bellanova". It incorporates a beautiful and funky soundscape with hip hop drums that were played lived by the artist himself.
