Hailing from the northern country of Russia, Gillepsy may be a new name to most but the multifaceted producer has been in the game for over 10 years now producing eclectic works that crisscross the electronic spectrum. It's an outlook that matches the Mad Decent newcomer Daktyl and his recent genre-bending EP, Cyclical. The release, which droppd two weeks back, features the same named title track that sees Daktyl working alongside American singer SPZRKT.
Gillepsy reworks many of the original's finer qualities, keeping a beat-focused approach and the exceptional vocal musings. However, the remix diverges from Daktyl's fluid progression by infusing "Cyclical" with anthemic builds and more structured staccato production.
