Dreamchild, known as either (dc) or The Real Sushi God, is a product of all your midday hazes underneath palm tree canopies and drifts through the synth cosmos surrounding Mother Earth. As a member of Film Noir, (dc) demonstrates versatility for producing out-of-this world sound evident in "Real", a sexy rhythmic R&B track courtesy of young vocalist Vada, and funky fresh percussion bumps and claps in his most recent song "Fast".
"Fast" is infectious in song and dance and features looped vocals of Los Angeles groove producer Deffie, powering through a jazzy disco footwork session and easing into a slowed down sensual intermission. Its quality of dance is similar to that of Kaytranada's "Hot Jazzybelle", except thoroughly splashed with hi-hat one-twos and earth-shaking bass. Dreamchild's worked with the soulful saxophone soloist Masego as well as French astronaut beatmaker Chahine, both of whom differ in style but meet in talent.
