Who doesn't love playing Grand Theft Auto? You don't just get to vicariously fulfill your lifelong carjacking fantasies – you do so to the rhythm of a supercharged soundtrack!
Now, Rockstar Games is teaming up with Mass Appeal Records (Nas, Run the Jewels) to spice up the Grand Theft Auto V PC debut with an exclusive radio station produced by Gangrene, a producer duo made up of The Alchemist and Oh No. One of the tracks from the rotation is "Lock and Load," a gritty firearm anthem combining MNDR's pop vocals with Killer Mike's aggressive and punchy gun bars. Ultimately, the juxtaposition of LA-based MNDR and the veteran A-town spitter is ingenious; the former supplies an infectious, M.I.A.-esque hook while Killer Mike delivers an emphatic verse that is beautifully violent and technically flawless.
"Lock and Load" and other bangers from the in-game radio station will be released on a standalone album, Welcome to Los Santos, on April 21st. You can stream the track below, and stay locked into EARMILK for updates on Killer Mike and EI-P's upcoming Run the Jewels 3!
