It's always a nice feat when you kick off your career as a producer with some legit backing. That's what happened for NY resident Sean Glass when he took his first stab at turning from DJ to Producer. Today we proudly present his official remix for Robert Delong's "Long Way Down." Sean remarks “It’s an honor to kick off my production career by remixing Robert. I’ve loved working with him over the last few years. Playing with him has always been fun, and he’s probably the artist I’ve seen the most times live over the last three years. It’s also an honor having Jason Bentley premiere this with his cosign. He’s a good friend, and I think the most important Radio DJ in the US. Shout out to U-Tern, The Juan MacLean, and the whole DFA family. They are the artists I was thinking about most while making this.”
While KCRW and the radio world has already put their seal of approval on the disco-fied remix, we're giving ours as well and look forward to hearing more official work from SG. The track will be up for sale in March 31, 2015, along with a full EP featuring more remixes of “Long Way Down.” In the meantime stream it below.
