The G.O.O.D. Music imprint signed its newest member to the team recently: a Chicago artist named Holt (formerly known as Hollywood Holt) who's also a member of Treated Crew. Today, he's shared his first taste of new music: a cover of Kavinsky's "Nightcall" (which was famously featured in the Drive soundtrack). Holt also previously produced the Beyoncé/André 3000 cover of Amy Winehouse's "Back To Black" from the Great Gatsby soundtrack.

An album is definitely on the way. The Kavinsky cover won't appear on the album, nor will any rapping. The majority of Holt's previous output has been as an MC (like his 2010 mixtape These Are The Songs That Didn't Make The Album But Are Still Cold As Hell So Shut The Fuck Up Vol. 1). On his first long-player under the name Holt, he'll stick to singing.
Watch the clip, directed by Holt and Chelsea Lombardo, below via Pitchfork.tv. Listen to the track above. The track was produced by Mano and features vocals from Glass Lux's own Emily Morse.
