Last week posted a remix of the Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Chelsea Lankes latest single “Down For Whatever.” This week she followed up the optimistic and adventurous record with an unexpected cover of Mötley Crüe’s heavy hitting rock anthem “Too You To Fall In Love.” This is one of Mötley’s lesser known deep cuts but what Chelsea is able to accomplish with her cover is inventive and invigorating synth pop production that rich in emotion and seeping with sensuality. Her smooth voice washes over the sporadic open face synth hits the light percussion bed before exploding into a bright pop-inspired electronic melody.
