It's true: we haven't covered Hardwell in some time. Though he's remained the number one DJ in the world according to the DJ Mag Top 100 poll, released his first full-length artist album United We Are and maintained festival main stages and club residencies in places like Ibiza and Las Vegas, it's with his latest remix of Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding's "Outside" that really caught us off guard. Though you could argue that Hardwell has followed a formulaic path since hitting superstardom, his work on "Outside" is a reminder of his talent. An obvious prep for festival season, he's accented Goulding's angelic vocals with a massive, drum-driven drop and breakdown, that holds a surprise every now and then. Check it out below.
