When a certain Mr Kanye West announced that he'd signed a teenager by the name of Travi$ Scott to his G.O.O.D Music label (specifically the production side), you would be forgiven for asking 'who?'. Indeed, when the young Houston native joined the G.O.O.D Music team back in 2012, he was still a relative unknown amongst many rap fans. However, if you fast forward three years, with two successful solo mixtapes under his belt, and a host of dope production credits to his name, and Travi$ Scott is a star in his own right.
The main thing I personally love about Travi$, is his ability and talent to bridge the gap between producer and artist so effortlessly, much like his mentor and homie Yeezy. Following on from last years highly acclaimed 'tape Days Before Rodeo, the precursor to his forthcoming debut LP Rodeo, we've been blessed with some more new music from Scott. Firstly we were graced with "Nothing But Net", which features hottest voice on the block right now PARTYNEXTDOOR and Rich Gang's Young Thug, on the hook. This joint had Boi-1da behind the boards, whilst Scott added his own touch to it with some co production credit, which features some booming 808's and minimal percussion, giving the track a really dark feel to it.

The second joint Scott dropped on us today was the aptly named "High Fashion", which featured Atlanta native Future on the hook. With Travi$ often seen as one of the best dressed rappers in the game right now, "High Fashion" is a suitable title for a track from the young wonderkid. Future, who is one of the best artists to call on if you're in need of a hook, provides a slick break in the beat, before Scott comes through and completely tears the instrumental apart, with a flow that rides it so tightly, and of course, he's packed in those 'La Flame' adlibs that we all know and love!
