You know that episode of Spongebob Squarepants where Spongebob is dancing like a hula hoop and wailing “now bring it aroooooound town?” His arms are outstretched and his body is gyrating in a circular motion as the music in his head consumes his porous body. Well we like to think the tunes bumping in his mind is the latest colossal club collaboration from Jersey Club Queen Uniiqu3 and the King Club Chameleon Brenmar, “Hula Hoop.” Blaring horns accompany slapping bass and swirling melodies that underlie Uniiqu3’s bubbly and playful instructions that will have everyone moving their body like a hula hoop.
This single is the latest off of Brenmar’s Awards EP which was released yesterday via Fools Gold Records. The EP is a diverse representation of his abililty to adapt to the artists that he works with all the while resounding his own unique blend of hip-hop, R&B, and club music. This week he will be gracing the west coast ands the east coast celebrating his album release alongside DJ Sliink, DJ Spinn, Yung Satan, and other homies.
