With the each new year comes a horde of new music and it can be quite hard to wade through the barrage of new tracks to find the gems, but starting off the New Year the right way is Swiss producer Askery, crossing international borders and teaming up with Lash of the Dominican Republic for a fantastic progressive house track, “Float Alone,” out now on Armada Trice.

Don’t be fooled by the first few seconds of the track, this is not one of those electro festival bangers so prevalent today but something more substantial. With a strong beat and synthetic sounding melody, this is surely a track to get you on your feet, but the breakdown allows Laurell’s angelic vocals to shine through, making her voice the perfect addition to give the song more emotional depth.

This is definitely one track you will not want to miss. You can pick up a copy of “Float Alone” now on Beatport!
