One of the most recognized names in the psy-trance scene, Infected Mushroom have become international icons for the breakneck beats and choppy melodies that mark the genre. Since the mid 90s, the duo of Erez Eisen and Amit Duvdevani have brought their signature sound to the masses, while still expanding its borders to new, unheard spaces. Over the last few years the pair have joined the crew at Dim Mak Records and fashioned singles, EPs, and full-length albums for the eclectic imprint.
Friends On Mushrooms, a three volume collection of EPs that demonstrate Infected Mushroom's ability to both stay true to their sound and explore dubstep, glitch hop, and more, continues with tomorrow's deluxe edition release. In it fans will find all tracks from the previous trilogy, as well as with a handful of new songs to journey along to, including today's premiere, "Kafkaf". Replete with static-filled melodies and running percussion lines, the track drifts in a decidedly electro house direction by way of paced tempo and pronounced climbs, blended with Infected Mushroom's rocking, psychedelic production.
