Listen to Rekord 61's percussive stomper, "Raskat" [Premiere]

Rekord 61 is Russian producer Alexander Babaev's  moniker from which he releases raw and relentless techno cuts that often garner support from heavyweight names like Efdemin, DVS1, and Anthony Parasole. With plenty of support early on in his career from big name labels willing to put their stamp behind the music he was making, it didn't take long for Babaev to kickstart his own imprint, Konstructiv. Self-branding his style of techno almost quietly, plenty of electronic music aficionado's have now caught on to his craft for ample kicks and smothering pressure points that steer a melody to its bursting point in prolific manner. Now in its 8th issue, Konstructiv brings us Sverh, inclusive of three Rekord 61 original cuts with a three-way remix package of the title track by Radio Slave.

The three original tracks are nothing less of what you already know to expect from Babaev; a rave-ready atmosphere with elaborate arrangements that force audiences to be immersed into the groove. As "Sverh" and "Prosvet" take off in vigorous guise, the loopiness of both take on a loud and commanding trance that show off Babaev's strengths well. Then there is "Raskat"; the jewel  of the batch. With rumbling toms and sweet chords lingering, the kicks give this stellar track a pulsing tone that only gets better as the beat goes on. But we can't forget about Radio Slave. Matt Edwards works up three interpretations that reshape, remodel, and revamp "Sverh".

With almost a month 'til the release date, EARMILK's got the exclusive stream of "Raskat". Take a listen for yourself and keep an eye out for Sverh, ready for release on both digital and 12-inch formats January 19.
