Mat Zo has been busy this fall – wrapping up his own tour with Kill The Noise, starting up a free release label aptly named Mad Zoo, and being apart of the landmark Group Therapy 100 celebration with Above & Beyond in New York earlier this month. Today he continues on his crusade to deliver music to his people for free with "Ruffneck Bad Boy." "Literally" just finished and posted to his Soundcloud, the track embodies what Zo is all about – lawless, versatile, high energy music. To describe this as quirky doesn't do it justice, and as a listerner who doesn't frequent hardcore electro as much as I used to, this really gets the job done – the perfect Thursday pick-me-up.
