Grandtheft dishes some gnarly tricks with a "When We Were Young" remix

Halloween is all about tricks and treats, and this latest remix from Toronto Club King Grandtheft perfectly delivers a delicious dose of both. His remix comes off of Dillon Francis’ latest album Money Sucks, Friends Rule. While Dill’s album may leave more to be desired, his collaboration, “When We Were Young” with The Chain Gang Of 1974, stands out triumphantly over all the other songs. Grandtheft takes the euphoric indie-electro pop hybrid and flips into a spectacle all his on. Wound up trap snares accompany airy melodies and vocals, as the beat begins to accelerate you anticipate fat bass notes and some gnarly synths to throw bows too.

Impishly Grandtheft builds up the beat, and follows with a release that is euphoric and otherworldly. Quite the perfect trick build up and treat. imagine if we could get in the head of a dog with it’s head out the window of a speeding car, this remix would be what's playing. Bravo Grandftheft, whatever they’re serving in Toronto we’ll take seconds.
