Yesterday saw a brand new single from London-based Gengahr. "Bathed In Light", the b-side to their forthcoming debut single "Powder" (which is set to be released October 27 via Transgressive Records), is melodic over anything else. It lurks in a dreamlike manner, where vocalist Felix Bushe's glorious lyricism wavers across a guitar-heavy rhythm.
Where "Powder" is dynamic and smooth,"Bathed In Light" is both eerie and romantic, and I think the latter takes the cake.
The band have also confirmed a slew of live dates running through October and November, including appearances at London Calling, Iceland Airwaves, and Dim Swn. Click here for more info.
