Following on from 70's influenced acoustic track "Undress Your Soul" and the filter-drenched video for "Lilly", Brighton-based band The DuBarrys have finally released their awesome four track debut EP, The DuBarrys, awash with indie-pop vocals and catchy melodies, all soundtracked by reverb-soaked guitars. All four tracks have a similar appeal and provide a specific Dubarry stamp, whilst bringing individual aspects.
In addition to their two previous releases, The DuBarrys features "Winter Grade" and "This Time" demanding your attention with sing-a-long riffs and The DuBarrys unique sound, allowing them to live up to comparisons with indie-tastemakers such as Alt-J and Local Natives, and cementing the band as ones to watch in the coming months.
They'll be playing at London's Shackwell Arms on Tuesday the 14th of October. These guys are being pushed by several UK radios, including BBC 6 Music and XFM, so it's likely they'll find the commendation they deserve.
