The madness is almost upon us. In one week (Sept. 26-28), TomorowWorld will return for it's second event in the United States. Like last year, the folks behind the epic European festival Tomorrowland will bring the lights, stages, and full production expertise to Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia (i.e., right outside of Atlanta). With one successful year behind them (and the promise of many more to come), the event organizers promise bigger everything: bigger stages, more lights, more sounds and sights. Don't believe me? TomorrowWorld prides itself on creating the most immerse experience possible for electronic music fans, welcoming the festival goer into a magical land of musical enchantment. Seriously, the event organizers spare no expense on providing the most advanced, up-to-date production designs and equipment for a festival. Stages are insanely eloborate, and the sound on most of the stages is quite literally world class. Because Chattahoochee Hills is essentially a sprawling, completely open farmland, the organizers really take full advantage of the space by building an epic fantasy land around you. Just check out this year's map.
As you can see, the organizers spaced the stages a bit differently than last years. There's still the wonderful stage on the lake (which, in my opinion, is one of the coolest stages EVER), but overall most of the stages have been shuffled around to better take advantage of the large space. Like Electronic Daisy Carnival (EDC), event organizers properly spaced the two most popular genres of music far away from each other: The Mainstage and the trap/dubstep stage. This ensures that large groups never get bunched up together, and necessitates a constant amout of foot traffic. While this didn't work out so well at EDC, I'm optimistic that TomorrowWorld, with its forest and giants fields, will handle overly large crowds more efficiently.
Of course, the main reason we all attend these mega-festivals is for the music, and this year's lineup certainly doesn't disappoint. With every major electronic music genre covered, there is something for everyone at TomorrowWorld. Martin Garrix
Say what you will about Dutch House, it is unquestionably one of electronic music's most popular genres. And say what you will about Martin Garrix, but I KNOW you've heard "Animals" at least 3000 times. Maybe more. There's a reason why many call 2014 "The year of Martin Garrix." So while the young producer/DJ continues to build his production resume, it's fair to say that his current body of work has certainly earned him a spot on Sunday's Mainstage. Below is a track you're almost guaranteed to hear during his set, his edit of Dubvision's "Backlash."

Dillon Francis
Dillon Francis has had a terrific 2014. Partying it up at some of the best festivals (Holy Ship, Mad Decent Block Party), while partnering up with some of the hottest producers in (A-Trak, Diplo, DJ Snake), the sky is the limit for Californian. Having recently released his first full-length album Money Sucks, Friends Rule, Dillon highlights one of my personal favorite stages, the Mad Decent stage on Saturday. And I can't wait for him this doozy of track.

Claude VonStroke
So, in case you've been hiding under a rock, techno is making a BIG comeback this year. Not just techno, but tech-house, deep house, and micro-house have all seen a real resurgence. One of the leading names in that resurgence is American producer/DJ Claude VonStroke. I can personally say that his set at EDC this year was one of my favorites, so I can't wait to check out his set at the All Gone Pete Tong stage on Saturday.

Slander
Oh trap. We have such complicated relationship, don't we? By far the most polarizing genre of electronic music, regardless of whether you love it or hate it, any electronic music fan with sense realizes how popular the genre is. If anything, much like big-room progressive house a few years ago, trap is the genre of EDM that most easily bridges the gap between electronic and mainstream pop music. So it only makes sense that trap be heavily represented at TomorrowWorld with multiple stages, on all three days. Fortunately, the even organizers found the top tier of trap artists to play, and I'm pretty stoked to see american duo Slander live on the It's a Trap! stage on Friday.
